Internal Pancake G-M Survey Meter and Scaler
The INSPECTOR radiation survey meter has an internal GM detector and is microprocessor controlled. The Inspector Survey Meter is a general purpose Geiger counter for low levels of alpha, beta, gamma and x-rays. The digital readout, red count light and audible beep, provide instant indications of the radiation level. Other benefits include scaler function with an adjustable timer and external calibration controls.
General Use includes: Emergency response personnel, Laboratory technician, Industrial, X-ray technician, Radiographer, Industrial hygienist, Safety manager, Equipment service & maintenance technician, Radiation safety officer, General public, and Geologist.
Common Applications include: Gross wipe counting, Surveying for NORM* contamination, contamination surveys of packages, equipment, people, etc., regulatory inspections, low energy radio nuclide detection
* Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material
Specifications Inspector+ (Internal tube): Halogen-quenched, uncompensated GM tube with thin mica window, 1.4-2.0 mg/cm2 area density.
Effective diameter of window is 45 mm (1.75 in.).
Radiation symbol on front label marks the center of the detector.
Display 4 digit liquid crystal display with indicators.
Averaging Periods Display will update every 3 seconds. At low background levels, the update is the moving average for the past 30-second time period. The timed period for the moving average decreases as the radiation level increases
