Used to clear potentially radioactive material for free release.  The industry standard device for clearing small articles.  These are the two door variety whereby you could place it at the boundary of a controlled area and pass items through to cleared areas.

Great for quantifying radioactive materials. 

lead shielding with plastic scintillator detectors in an array around the box.

6 plastic scintillator detectors (sides, top, bottom, doors).

These units are in calibration through 2015 and some into 2016.
