The Model 2401-P instrument is a general purpose, pocket-size radiation detection meter designed around the venerable GM pancake detector. The detector is conveniently packaged inside the instrument with a protective screen window.
Medical Application
This meter is great for measuring low-level surface contamination of beta emitting isotopes, or for locating dropped or lost (therapeutic) seeds in the Radiology or Nuclear Medicine departments.
