The Model 44-2 is a NaI(Tl) scintillator detector for measuring low level gamma radiation. It has a 137 Cs sensitivity of 175 cpm per μR/hr and uses a 1X1 NaI detector.  It is capable of making environmental level measurements.  This probe in combination with a suitable meter is useful for measuring background and low level radiation.

This probe can be used with a Ludlum Model 3, 12, 2221, or many other meters with adjustable high voltage that accomodate scintillation probes.  This probe is great for measuring radiation boundaries and looking for variations in background.

Combined with a Counts.Pro (Scaler/data logging tool) equipped meter, you can perform detailed analysis of bulk samples to determine low levels of radioactivity, or create detailed GPS driven survey maps of area boundaries.

Specify what type of connector you want.  Most have C connectors.
